Apollo Casket LLC was developed to provide an innovative and
personalized way to care for your loved one.
Our designs borrow classical elements from across time and cultures,
from the marble sculptures of Ancient Rome and Greece, to the
Etruscan Sarcophagi, and the wooden funeral boats of the Vikings and
the Balinese, just to name a few. We blend these inspirations with
modern themes and sensibilities, with a touch of fantasy that speak to
the individual's passions.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
After a trip to Rome at the age of 12, Kim was captivated by sculpture
and the different ways it can move people. In her early twenties, she
became a woodcarver, which provided great training for her current
work. She began using her imagination and artistic talent to design
specialty caskets. Her hopes are that these themed caskets will bring a
personalized touch, not only to commemorate the individual, but to
support the family as well.
